Independent verification, five ways

Every service produces the same thing: documented, defensible findings from a firm with no conflicts of interest.

01

Corporate Due Diligence & Verification

Before a contract is signed, a partnership announced, or an acquisition closed, someone should independently answer the question: who are we actually dealing with? ESRD conducts pre-contract risk assessments, third-party background verification, litigation and lien research, ownership and affiliation analysis, and reputation review — delivered as a documented findings report with a clear risk rating.

Typical engagements: vendor and subcontractor vetting, pre-award verification for primes, counterparty due diligence for significant agreements, and periodic re-screening of existing partners.

02

Regulatory Compliance Programs

Compliance obligations arrive from statutes, contracts, funders, and certifications — and they rarely arrive with instructions. ESRD designs and manages compliance programs matched to your actual obligations: a documented framework, monitoring calendar, evidence collection, and the disclosure and reporting deliverables your overseers expect.

We begin every engagement with a gap assessment: where you stand, what is missing, and a prioritized remediation roadmap. For organizations facing an audit or review, we prepare the evidence file before anyone asks for it.

03

Community Benefit Agreement Monitoring

When corporations receive tax incentives, land, or public approvals, they commonly commit to local hiring, minority and small-business contracting, workforce training, and community investment. Those commitments are real obligations — and they are almost never independently verified.

ESRD serves as the independent monitor: we review hiring and procurement records against commitments, grade delivery, and publish clear compliance reporting. For local governments and community organizations, that means leverage grounded in evidence. For corporations, it means credible, third-party proof of delivery — the strongest answer to public skepticism.

04

Certification Integrity & Verification

Set-aside and supplier-diversity programs — SBA SDVOSB/WOSB, state SWAM, corporate diversity spend — depend on participants being who they claim to be. Misrepresentation is common, and primes are accountable for their subcontractors' claims.

ESRD verifies certification status and eligibility for prime contractors with subcontracting goals, audits diversity-spend claims, and prepares applicants for certification review with documentation that withstands scrutiny. As a firm holding four SBA certifications ourselves, we know exactly what legitimate looks like.

05

Institutional Grant Compliance

Federal and state funding is a lifeline for HBCUs, nonprofits, and community organizations — and a liability when compliance slips. Reporting failures put funding, accreditation, and reputations at risk.

ESRD provides compliance gap assessments against grant terms (including Title III requirements for eligible institutions), ongoing monitoring, expenditure documentation review, and preparation of the compliance reports funders require. We help institutions keep the funding they have earned.
